How to Fix BSOD Error 0xA7 BAD_EXHANDLE?

Some of the major reasons behind this error is having a corrupt memory (RAM), and the presence of old device drivers.


Method 1: Delete temporary files

1.      Firstly, visit the Start menu.
2.      Then, write ‘CMD’ into the search bar.
3.      Next, do a right-click on the Command Prompt.
4.      After that, choose Run as Administrator.
5.      Then, press on the Yes option.
6.      Next, write ‘cleanmgr’.
7.      After that, tap on Enter.
8.      Then, give some time.
9.      A dialog box will be displayed after some time.
10.  Then, put a tick symbol for the things you wish to delete.
11.  Lastly, tap on ‘OK’.

Method 2: Go for a System Restore

1.      Firstly, visit the Start menu. It can be done by tapping on the Windows button.
2.      Then, write ‘System Restore’ into the search box. Press on it whenever it gets displayed in the given options.
3.      After that, press on the System Protection option.
4.      Next, tap on the option that states ‘System Restore.’
5.      Then, choose a restore place.
6.      After that, go through the on-screen instruction.
7.      Lastly, restart the device.

Method 3: Remove newly added software

1.      Firstly, press Windows+R on your keyboard.
2.      Then, write ‘Control Panel’ in the text area.
3.      After that, tap on Enter.
4.      Next, search ‘Programs and Features’ in the window.
5.      Then, press on ‘Uninstall a program.’
6.      After that, search the newly added program from the given list. Do a right-click on it.
7.      Lastly, choose ‘Uninstall’ from the menu.

Method 4: Use a System File Checker (SFC) Scan

1.      Firstly, visit the Start Menu.
2.      Then, write CMD in the search box.
3.      After that, do a right-click on ‘Command Prompt.’
4.      Next, choose Run as administrator.
5.      Then, press the Yes option whenever the prompt gets displayed.
6.      After that, write sfc/scannow in the window.
7.      Next, tap on Enter button of the keyboard.
8.      Lastly, give some time for the scan to get over.

Method 5: Go for installing Windows updates

1.      Firstly, visit the Start menu.
2.      Then, write ‘Windows Update’ into the search box.
3.      Press on it.
4.      After that, press on the ‘Check for Updates’ option.

Method 6: Disable Fast Startup
       
1.      Firstly, write ‘Power Options’ in Cortana.
2.      Press on it.
3.      Then, press ‘Choose what the power buttons do.’
4.      Go to under Shutdown settings, switch off Fast Startup.
5.      Next, don’t forget to save the change that has been made.
6.      Then, you need to exit the window.
7.      Lastly, restart the device.
